Felix Lebrun Makes History with Bronze in Men’s Table Tennis at Paris 2024

France’s 17-year-old table tennis star, Felix Lebrun, delivered a masterclass performance in the men’s singles bronze medal match at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Facing off against Brazil’s Hugo Calderano, Lebrun won in straight sets, securing a 4-0 victory with scores of 11-6, 12-10, 11-7, and 11-6.

This win is a historic moment for French table tennis, as Lebrun becomes the first player from France to win an Olympic bronze in men’s singles. Moreover, it’s the first men’s singles medal for France in 32 years, following Jean-Philippe Gatien’s silver at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
